Flash Coming To Android: With Good, And Bad News…

Not a lot has been going on in the Android world sense the Mobile World Congress, Where we had seen many new Android devices. Two of those devices (HTC Desire and HTC Legend) Where shown with Flash Player. This brings up a question for most Android users, “When can I get some love from Adobe Flash Player.”

This is where some bad news comes in…..

Even tho most 1st generation Android handsets will be bumped up to Android 2.0 or 2.1, they won’t meet the requirements of an ARM v7 (Cortex) chipset like those found in the Qualcomm Snapdragon and TI OMAP3 series.

The Good News….

Even tho it is a let down that you wont get full Flash support it is more then likely that you will get Flash Lite.. So keep your head up, and we will keep you posted when we find out more.
